It's official. The Dirt just received word that the National Park Service—the last agency needed to either approve or reject the plan—has approved the plan to build a new Yankee Stadium and four new parking garages on Macomb's Dam and Mullaly parks in the South Bronx. What does this mean for the South Bronx and New York City?
It's time for the Yankees and the city to get creative about greening the Bronx. UPDATE/CORRECTION: The National Park Service is the next-to-last agency needed to approve the plan, if you count the IRS as the final agency. Thanks, Neil. |
