Daffodil Bulb Planting at Devoe Park

VOLUNTEERS REVITALIZE AND PLANT 1,000 DAFFODIL BULBS AT DEVOE PARK ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5.
Bronx REACH CHAMPS, Parks and Open Spaces Coalition members Bronx Community Health Network, Fordham Hill Owners Corporation, Montefiore, New Yorkers for Parks, NYC Parks and children from the Washington Greys Military Academy rolled up their sleeves to revitalize Devoe Park on Saturday, November 5.
The volunteers cleaned, raked, removed invasive weeds and planted 1,000 daffodils bulbs courtesy of the Daffodil Project which serves as a living memorial to September 11, 2001.
