The "Comparative Park Management Models" report provides background research on “best practices” in urban parks management and funding in three major municipalities – Boston, Chicago and San Francisco.
The report highlights these management strategies as potential lessons for enhanced service delivery in New York City. As with New Work, these three cities are high-density urban environments, creating a similar social and political environment for parks policy in these urban areas.
