Hello, readers!  New Yorkers for Parks hosted a Blooming Event at Harlem’s Marcus Garvey Park on Saturday, April 24. NY4P was out in the park to celebrate Earth Day’s 40th Anniversary and to distribute Daffodil Project Blooming Maps.  We were joined by Mount Morris Park Community Park Improvement Association, who led a tour of the Mount Morris Park Historic District. Don’t miss their 21st Annual Neighborhood House Tour event on Sunday, June 13. Visit MMPCIA’s website for more details.  Special thanks to MMPCIA, Tonnie’s Minis and Ristorante Settepani for making our day in the park so special.

And don’t forget that NY4P’s Daffodil Project Photo Contest is accepting entries until Friday, April 30th. Submit your entries today! Official rules and submission instructions can be found at www.ny4p.org.
