2019 Party 4 Parks

In 2019, NY4P spearheaded the Play Fair Coalition, the largest organization of parks advocates in nearly two decades,
to secure a historic $43 million investment for NYC parks and gardens.

Join NY4P on Monday, November 4th as we celebrate an exceptional year of bringing advocates together to support local parks in NYC.

At the 2019 Party 4 Parks, we are thrilled to honor

New York City Council Speaker Corey Johnson
to recognize his support and dedication that helped NY4P and the Play Fair Coalition
achieve this transformational victory for parks.

Central Park is closed to traffic. To reach The Boathouse, you enter the park at Fifth Avenue and 72nd Street and follow the traffic road to the right. It is a very pleasant walk and should take between three and six minutes.

Small parking garages may be found as close as 72nd and 73rd off of Fifth Avenue, but The Boathouse suggests using the Metropolitan Museum’s garage at 80th Street and Fifth Avenue. It is large enough that you will always find a space and is open 24 hours.

Shuttle service will be available at approximately fifteen minute intervals to take guests to and from Fifth Avenue and The Boathouse. It stops at the corner of 72nd Street and at 80th Street near the Metropolitan Museum’s garage. Look for a trolley or van with The Loeb Boathouse name on the window.
